野生動物（やせいどうぶつ） Wild animal

私は 日本の 北海道に 住んでいます。

北海道は 自然が たくさん 残っていて、日本でも 人気の 観光地です。

野生動物も たくさんいます。

北海道で 一番大きい都市の 札幌でも、郊外へ行けば、

キタキツネやエゾリス、 エゾシカなどを見ることもあります。

しかし、北海道に 生息しているのは、かわいい動物だけではありません。

凶暴なエゾヒグマや、毒蛇のマムシなどもいます。

たまに その動物たちが 道路に飛び出してくることもあります。動物を 避けようとした事故も 少なくありません。そこで、注意を促すために、道路には 「動物飛び出し注意！」という標識が 立てられています。

観光地や キャンプ場などにも ときどき、危険を 知らせる標識があります。

上の写真は「熊出没注意」・・・熊が出ることがあるので、注意してください、という意味です。

あなたの国や 町には どんな野生動物が いますか。どんな注意が 必要ですか。そして、珍しい標識は ありますか。

たまにその動物たちが道路（どうろ）に飛（と）び出（だ）してくることもあります。動物を避（さ）けようとした事故（じこ）も少（すく）なくありません。そこで、注意（ちゅうい）を促（うなが）すために、道路には「動物飛び出し注意！」という標識（ひょうしき）が立（た）てられています。

観光地（かんこうち）やキャンプ場（じょう）などにもときどき、危険（きけん）を知（し）らせる標識があります。

上（うえ）の写真（しゃしん）は「熊出没注意（くましゅつぼつちゅうい）」・・・熊（くま）が出（で）ることがあるので、注意してください、という意味（いみ）です。

I live in Hokkaido in Japan. Hokkaido is popular sight-seeing spot in Japan since it still has a lot of natural habitat left intact.

There are also a lot of wild animals.

The biggest city in Hokkaido is Sapporo, but when you go into the suburbs you can find wild animals like :-

TheEzo Red Fox

TheHokkaido Squirrel

TheHokkaido Shika Deer

But not all the animals that inhabit the Hokkaido island are cute.

There is the brutal and ferocious Hokkaido Brown Bear

The venomous Nihon- Mamushi or Japanese Copperhead

And sometimes animals dart out onto the roads. The number of accidents by cars swerving to avoid animals are not few. Therefore there are signs to call people's attention to this along the roads that read “Beware of Animals !”

And at tourist areas and campgrounds, there are signs alerting people of the dangers.

The photo above which reads [Kuma Shutsu Botsu Chui] means that bears (熊) are known to come out (出) here so please be careful (注意).
